Ten Years of Samaanta: our Journery so far
What began as a humble personal effort to make a difference in the lives of some talented young people has now become a movement that is proving time and time again that it is the lack of opportunity, not ability, that limits the potential of so many fantastic young people. We have a long way to go to help create a more just, equitable, and inclusive system, but we are so very proud of what we have achieved.
In order to celebrate this momentous journey, we are proud to present a video that introduces you to our story. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our friends, well-wishers, and supporters, without whom we would not be here today. In particular, we dedicate this video to our fellows over the last ten years, who have taught us about love and laughter, hardship and humility, aspirations and ambition, service and leadership. Onwards.

Dear Friends,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As we approach the 15th year of our Fellowship, I am excited to share that our Fellows and Alumni continue to grow and thrive.
This year, we welcomed our largest and most diverse cohort, with 19 Fellows. Further, 11 of our high school Fellows have been promoted to the senior Samaanta Fellowship to continue their undergraduate level. This takes our total active Fellows to 86 this year, with each Fellow receiving up to seven years of funding and support.
