Asmi Tamang
Asmi Tamang completed her SEE at Shree Bhotenamlang Secondary School and is originally from Bhotenamlang-7, Sindhupalchok. During her school years, she actively participated in speech competitions, dance performances, poetry activities, and badminton. She was also engaged in the Child Club and Eco Club, where she contributed to student-led initiatives focused on leadership, awareness, and environmental responsibility. Her interest in shayari (both writing and recitation) further highlights her creative and expressive nature.
Belonging to a family of five, Asmi lives with her mother, father, one sister, and two brothers. Her parents are farmers. Growing up in this environment has helped her develop resilience and responsibility. Looking ahead, Asmi plans to study Management and aspires to become a tour guide, with a strong interest in exploring cultures, communicating with people, and representing her country through tourism.
