Foundation Care For All (FCFA) aims to enhance the well-being of people in developing countries, with a primary focus on Nepal, by investing in knowledge and creating opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential. The organization prioritizes sustainability by emphasizing local involvement and the preservation of culture and nature in its educational initiatives, ensuring long-term positive impacts on communities.

FCFA were Samaanta Foundation’s first international partners, as they have supported us since our inception in 2012.  Their experience of supporting education in Nepal before 2012 had led them to the same conclusions that led us to founding Samaanta, and they have supported us financially as well as by being our close advisors and vocal ambassadors. 

Pestalozzi International

Pestalozzi International is committed to transforming the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the Global South through a comprehensive, holistic education that empowers them to become future leaders and changemakers. Formed from the strategic merger of Pestalozzi World Children’s Trust and Pestalozzi International Foundation, the organization combines a long-standing legacy of educational excellence with a shared vision of impact. Pestalozzi provides child-centred education that goes beyond academics, fostering vocational skills and emotional, social, and mental well-being. 

Pestalozzi and Samaanta are well-aligned on our values around service, leadership, and paying it forward. One of our founders benefitted from a Pestalozzi scholarship, and we are delighted that our partnership has grown institutionally over the last two years, allowing us to support and transform the lives of more young people with potential.

 Sharing a Smile

Sharing a Smile is a non-profit organization founded in January 2020 by six students, living in Luxembourg and abroad. Their primary objective is to fight against the harmful consequences of poverty by starting to support the Helpless Children Home orphanage in Nepal in order to guarantee a better future for orphans.

For the last two years, Sharing a Smile has partnered with the Samaanta Foundation to support both high school and undergraduate Fellows.

 Bhoos Games

Bhoos Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is a game development company based in Nepal. Founded in 2015, Bhoos is dedicated to developing different interactive mobile games. Bhoos has developed a range of popular games such as Callbreak, Marriage, Ludo Legend, and Snadder. It aims to innovate, grow, empower and create a bond among the young generation through creative games.

The Phoenix Foundation

The Phoenix Foundation was formed by a small group of friends who came together to create a shared platform for effective, informed philanthropy. They aim to empower poor and marginalised people to create positive long-term changes in their lives and their communities. They carry out their mission by supporting philanthropic organizations and projects that: create opportunities for long-term change, empower people to help themselves, use creative ideas as well as common sense solutions to deliver results and understand the importance of measuring and demonstrating impact. 

The Phoenix Foundation have provided transformative funding to Samaanta Foundation in 2024, allowing us to scale our operations This partnership has enabled Samaanta to expand and deepen our Fellowship, as well as invest in strengthening our systems and processes.

Nepali American Center

The Nepali American Center (NAC), a nonprofit organisation founded in 2009, aims to unite Nepalis in Chicago and beyond through cultural functions and various events. Since their inception, they have also contributed to the socio-economic development of Nepal in collaboration with several individuals and organisations. In the past few years, NAC has organised several events in and around Chicago to unite Nepalis. They have raised funds to support Fellows at Samaanta and have also provided mentorship to help extend the Samaanta Foundation’s work and mission.

 

Bhaskar Tejshree Memorial Foundation

Bhaskar-Tejshree Memorial Foundation (BTMF) is a non-profit organisation in memory of the late Dr. Bhaskar B. Thapa, a world-class geotechnical tunnel engineer and Late Tejshree Thapa, a renowned human rights activist, BTMF has currently two major areas of work: a) Cardiovascular Health Promotion and b) Human Rights. Bhaskar-Tejshree Memorial Foundation (BTMF) is a non-profit organisation in memory of the late Dr. Bhaskar B. Thapa, a world-class geotechnical tunnel engineer and Late Tejshree Thapa, a renowned human rights activist, BTMF has currently two major areas of work: a) Cardiovascular Health Promotion and b) Human Rights.

Bhaskar-Tejshree Scholarship Project: BTMF has supported underprivileged individuals from rural communities in pursuing vocational training and higher education. In this regard, the Tejshree Human Rights Scholarship Trust was established at Nepal Law Campus from which several aspiring women law students are benefitting. Likewise, BTMF has committed to establishing the Bhaskar Scholarship Trust at Min Higher Secondary School, Tanahun, to support underprivileged adolescents in pursuing their education. 

BTMF are supporting a Fellow to pursue a Civil Engineering degree- our first Fellow to pursue this field- at the National College of Engineering affiliated with Tribhuvan University.
