Dipak Kumar Kurmi
10th Cohort
Dipak Kumar Kurmi, a 10th Cohort fellow of the Samaanta Foundation, is originally from the Parsa district. He completed his SEE at Shree Nepal Rashtriya Secondary School, Sedhawa and completed his high school education at V.S. Niketan College and achieved a GPA of 3.52 in the management faculty.
Dipak excelled in both academics and extracurriculars. He engaged in a three-month project, conducting a Door-to-Door Awareness Program across 65 households to eliminate Gender Discrimination in higher-level education from Aakar Nepal Fellowship. Additionally, he was involved in organizing the KYC (Kathmandu Youth Conclave) event, aiming to inspire Nepalese youth to embrace reading and entrepreneurship.
Deepak is extremely grateful to the Samaanta Foundation for the Fellowship opportunity, he says, “Now, I can be a role model for my community’s youths to show the right path and make them aware of the importance of education and the power it has to change the life of an individual’’
Now, Dipak is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) at King’s College with a full tuition waiver, his goal is to become a manager at a reputable company. He attributes his achievements to the support of the Samaanta Foundation and emphasizes the importance of “Paying it Forward.”
