Salina Gurung
Originally from Tanahu, Salina Gurung recently completed her SEE at Shree Saraswati Namuna Secondary School. She currently lives with her aunt’s family, including her uncle who serves in the army, her grandmother, and her cousin. Within her community, Salina addressed pressing challenges and worked to raise funds for her school’s first aid.
Salina has faced significant challenges, but she remains thoughtful, observant, and determined. Her compassion is what inspires her to pursue nursing and support her community – where existing health services are poor.
