Sheerjana Praja
Sheerjana Praja hails from the Chepang community in Chitwan and is the youngest of three siblings. Her parents are primarily involved in farming.
She completed her SEE at Shree Araniko Secondary School, Bhaktapur, through a scholarship from Nawa Abhiyan Nepal. Sheerjana served as the President of the Science Club and spearheaded community projects such as afforestation. She was active in extracurricular activities, including quiz contests, speech contests, and dance competitions. A well-spoken, optimistic and talented Fellow, Sheerjana is also committed to social change and justice.
Sheerjana is the first Fellow from Chepang community at Samaanta Foundation. She is currently enrolled in the Science faculty at Nepal Mega College and as of early 2025, has been offered a full scholarship to pursue an IB Diploma at UWC Atlantic–UK.
