Ranjita Sarki

10th cohort

Ranjita Ramtel is a 10th Cohort Samaanta Foundation Fellow from Sindhupalchowk District who completed her SEE from Shree Bhimsen Secondary School, Sindhupalchowk with a 3.25 GPA and completed her high school in the Faculty of Law from Nepal Mega College.

She actively participated in the 9-month Lead course at Women Lead Nepal and was awarded the ‘Most Committed Leader’ award where she led an advocacy workshop on Gender Equality. She is also a recipient of the ‘Her Turn Award’ at Hamro Palo in 2022. Ranjita is now pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, at Thames International College, where she has been awarded a full tuition waiver. She aspires to advocate for the Dalit community and raise voices for women.  

Ranjita says, “Samaanta Foundation has made significant contributions to my personal and academic growth. Samaanta has also helped me build networks to become a confident person and a change-maker in society.” She acknowledges that Samaanta has helped her become the best version of herself.
